🚨Smoke Alarm Installation Blitz 🚨
On Wednesday, June 3, 2026, the Jackson Fire Department will conduct a citywide Smoke Alarm Installation Blitz as part of #ProjectESCAPE.
From 10:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., firefighters will focus on previously received smoke alarm requests while also working to expand smoke alarm coverage and provide fire safety education throughout the community.
Remember: In a home fire, you may only have 3–4 minutes to escape safely. Working smoke alarms, sleeping with bedroom doors closed, and practicing your home escape plan can save lives.
🔥 Plan A: Doors
🔥 Plan B: Windows
🔥 Plan C: Defend Your Space
FREE smoke alarms and CO alarms are provided through the Tennessee State Fire Marshal’s Office “Get Alarmed, Tennessee” program. ... See MoreSee Less
